It’s crazy to think that a year ago today I was on my way to Paris. I somewhat imagined what it would be like living there, but what I received during those four months exceeded all my expectations. The memories, the people, and the growth I experienced there will be forever engrained on my heart. Until we meet again, Paris.

I can barely contain myself right now. 4 hours before I’m reunited with my Parisian loves, Aubrey and Caitlin. SO FREAKIN HAPPY RIGHT NOW!!!
This summer is going to be the best.
My best Caroline is coming up next week for 9 days of fun, food, capitol hill block party, and vino. And on top of all of this, just found out that my parisian roommates are coming to Seattle for almost a week in August! How did this girl get to be so lucky?
One of my best friends is currently spending a month in France and as I peruse her blog and all her pictures, I’m having all these flashbacks of my time there. Her pictures of Mont Saint-Michel remind me of the time my roommates were there and we waddled through the water, took pictures, and laughed, all while carrying a huge loaf of bread and speculoos. I loved all those simple moments and as I continue to look at her pictures, I remember again how thankful I am for the time I got to spend there. So happy that she gets to experience these things too.
Two of my favorite photos. Taken right after a day spent at the Louvre, just as the sun was going down and the lights were coming on. It truly is La Ville des Lumières.
I love these cards by Rifle Paper Co. so much. I want them. Please convince me to spend $18 on an 8 set of these.
Remember when we would ride the métro all around Paris? Get on at olympiades and off at palais royale? Remember the musicians who would get on with us, get out their accordions, and play a rendition of “la vie en rose”? Do you remember?
