”And we now understand with the deep weight of our planted souls that community is not adrift. It is purposeful and sought after. It is sprinkled with whimsy, and it abides in a place where we can be present to one another.” - Rebecca Parker for Kinfolk Magazine
Overflow of Blessings
The Lord has blessed me with a community here who loves Jesus, who understands the call to follow Him, and who encourages me and holds me accountable in my walk with Him. I needed that, and to tell you the truth, I wasn’t sure I would find that here in Paris. God brings people into your life for a reason and I am so thankful that God has chosen these people to be part of my life for the next couple months. God is good, He provides, and He strengthens.
Today a group of us all met at a café by the Eiffel Tower to pray for one another, to hold each other accountable, and support each other in our walk with Jesus. We talked about what that looks like and how we plan to use our time here to love people, love each other, and share the gospel with those in our program and in Paris. I left feeling so encouraged and blessed that God has placed me here and in community with these people.
